Counselling
So why would you want to come and see a Psychologist?
There can be many reasons. We could list a range of diagnoses and labels here and see if one fits, but ultimately it comes down to something much simpler:
• If you're not feeling okay
• If you need someone to talk to
• If you wish things were different
• If you are finding life challenging
• If you are not able to do the things you want or need to do
• If you feel stuck and aren't sure what the next step should be
If you need someone to help you find that first rung of the ladder and support you in taking manageable steps towards where you want to be, then that's a good reason to have a chat.
Parental Advice
Parenting can be both rewarding and challenging.
Liza is available to meet with parents individually or as a couple to discuss concerns, explore strategies, and identify appropriate supports for their child or young person. Sessions may focus on understanding behaviour, navigating school concerns, strengthening relationships, or accessing additional services and supports.
10 - 14 year olds
Liza will initially meet with the young person and their parent(s) or guardian(s). Following this, sessions are tailored to the needs of the young person, with ongoing parental involvement and feedback provided where appropriate and with consent.
A range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches may be utilised depending on the individual needs and goals of the young person.
15 - 18 year olds
Young people aged 15 years and over are welcome to contact Liza directly to discuss their needs and determine whether her services are the right fit for them.
Therapy is tailored to the individual, with goals developed collaboratively and confidentiality discussed in accordance with professional and legal requirements.
18+ Adults
Life can present challenges at any age.
You may be seeking support for anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions, neurodiversity, emotional regulation, or simply because things do not feel quite right.
Liza provides a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences, develop practical strategies, and work towards meaningful change.
Whether you are facing a specific challenge or simply looking for support to better understand yourself and move forward, therapy is tailored to your individual needs and goals.
